Dushanbe. September 4. Silkroadnews - Japan financed the reconstruction of schools in Bohtar area in the south of Tajikistan for more than $117 thousand, transmits Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) on Thursday.
"The Japanese government has provided financial assistance in the reconstruction of the school №25 in Bohtar region", - said the Japanese Embassy in Tajikistan.
According to the information the project was implemented through the Japanese grant aid. A grant in the amount of $ 117.261 was aimed at the restoration of all three buildings and a sports complex of school №25.
Opening ceremony of the school was attended by the Japanese Ambassador to Tajikistan Takashi Kamada, representatives of the state administration of Bohtar district as well as students and teachers of the school.
"By means of this project, the school №25 underwent fundamental reconstruction, allowing more than 700 students opportunity to study in a comfortable conditions" - the embassy said.
