Japan intends to increase the area of uranium search in Uzbekistan

Almaty. November 7. Silkroadnews - Japan National Oil Corporation for Gas and Metals (JOGMEC) will increase the volume of exploration of uranium in the Navoi region, reports Telegraph Agency of Uzbekistan (UzTAG).
It is noted that at the present time the Japanese company working within the licensed area. In 2015, it is planned to increase the volume of work.
According to the State Committee on Geology and Mineral Resources of Uzbekistan, explored estimated uranium reserves amount to 185.8 thousand tonnes, of which 138.8 thousand tonnes - uranium deposits of sandstone-type, 47 thous tons - black shale type.
