Kabul hopes for a full-membership in the SCO - Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Almaty. June 5. Silkroadnews - Afghanistan hopes to transfer from the status of observer to the status of full member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), reports AfTAG.
"We are ready to increase ties with the SCO. We hope that from the observer status we will be transferred to the rank of a full-fledged member of this organization. We believe that in the status of a Member State, we can more actively contribute to the realization of the goals of the SCO",- said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan Salahuddin Rabbani at the high-level conference "Security and stability in the SCO region" in Moscow.
