Kabul. April 2. Silkroadnews – Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai calls to stop using “Pakistan Border” as an expression, “Afghanistan.ru” reports.
The Cabinet members supported President’s idea. They proposed to use “Durand line” instead. The term Durand line was introduced at the end of the 19th century, between the second and the third British Campaigns in Afghanistan. It is notable that the Durand Line is yet to be recognised as border by Afghanistan’s authorities.
Anti-Pakistan sentiments continue to increase as the country is approaching its elections. Some of the recent attacks are being attributed to Pakistani Intelligence Services (ISI). This includes claims made by senior officials.
