Kazakh border guards stopped the import of about a ton of drugs smuggled from China

Astana. January 27. Silkroadnews - Kazakh border guards detained smuggled goods from China - about a ton of drugs, reported the press service of the Border Service of CNS of RK.
"Border guard of checkpoint "Khorgos" on the Kazakh-Chinese border detained contraband cargo. A 32-year-old woman tried to smuggle into our country about one ton of drugs",- said in a statement on Tuesday.
The detainee cargo was taken in to police office. Conducted investigative actions by article 234, part 1 (economic smuggling) of the Criminal Code.
