Kazakh children are killed in a car accident due to the low discipline on roads and the increasing number of vehicles, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Silkroadnews - The increased number of cars in the country in recent years, and the low culture of behavior on the road are the main causes of death among children in a car accident, transmits KazTAG with reference to the Chairman of the Committee of the Administrative Police of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Igor Lepekha.
"The analysis shows that as of today we have two main reasons. We from 2007 to 2013, almost twice has grown the number of vehicles in the country. And it is an objective reason, from which there is no escape",- said I. Lepekha at the extended meeting of the committee on social and cultural development of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan "On measures to reduce suicidal behavior and road accidents among young people and adolescents" on Tuesday.
According to him, if in 2007 there were 2.5 million units of vehicles, in 2013 this figure amounted to 4 million 100 thousand.
"The second major reason is a very low traffic discipline of all road users, both drivers and pedestrians. And because of that committed most of all accidents",- said I. Lepekha.
As infrms the chairman of the committee, in 2014, road accidents killed 142 and injured 2,613 minors.
"The main causes of road accidents are caused by children, first of all, the transition roadway at an undisclosed location, the sudden appearance on the road and other objects, as well as the game on the roadway", - concluded I. Lepekha.
