Kazakh rescue team helps lost Russian pilgrims

Almaty. May 23. Silkroadnews – Rescue team of East Kazakhstan Province helped a group of Russian pilgrims that got lost in a steppe. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency situations.
20 Russian citizens arrived to Abay District from Omsk and Tumen to visit sacred sights of “Kendyrbay”. The group’s vehicles got stuck in salt-marsh areas 40 km away from Karaul village. The pilgrims called “112” emergency services at 22:30.
The rescue team arrived to help without any delays. Tractors managed to pull stuck vehicles out of salt-marsh by 3 a.m. None of the pilgrims were hurt.
