Kazakh scientist found in Spain 10 treatises of al-Farabi
Almaty. October 15. Silkroadnews - Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies Abdsattar Derbisali found in Spain 10 treatises of al-Farabi, informs KazTAG.
"Professor A.Derbisali found a number of written sources that are important for medieval history and culture of the Kazakh people in the libraries of Rabat and Casablanca, and the fund of Al-Karaouine in Fes (Morocco), formed as early as the tenth century. Have been found 10 treatises Abu Nasir al-Farabi in the library of Escorial Spain, written on calf skin",- said in a press release issued at the press conference in Almaty on Wednesday.
A.Derbisali noted that previously only 10 treatises of al-Farabi were published in Almaty.
A.Derbisali also said that in the Escorial library he found three more manuscripts of medieval scholars who lived in Sairam.
Meanwhile, Head of the Department of KazNU Kalkaman Zhumagulov found in the Vatican previously unknown image of Attila.
It is explained that the findings were discovered during research trips within the project "History of Kazakh according to foreign archives".
