Kazakhstan and China signed about 20 agreements for $8 billion in Astana
Almaty. June 8. Silkroadnews – About 20 agreements worth $8 billion have been signed during the meeting of the Kazakhstan-China Business Council in Astana, president Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
“I’d like to mention our business council work. Today Astana hosts the fourth meeting of the council, during which about 20 commercial agreements were signed in addition to those that we signed in your presence, to the total amount of $8 billion”, N. Nazarbayev said in the course of the joint press conference with Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping on Thursday.
To remind, these days Xi Jinping pays official visit to Kazakhstan. He is expected to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and the opening ceremony of the international exhibition EXPO-2017.
