Kazakhstan and Iran intend to implement several major projects in the coming years

Almaty. October 14. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan and Iran intend to implement in the coming years a number of joint large-scale projects. This was announced by Minister for Investment and Development of Kazakhstan Asset Issekeshev, KazTAG reports.
"According to experts, if we implement all the planned measures, the turnover could reach several billion dollars, at least 3-4 billion", - he added.
As a result of the 14th meeting of the Kazakh-Iranian commission on trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation were signed protocol, memorandum of cooperation and the establishment of the business council between the NHR "Atameken" and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Iran.
In addition, signed an agreement of understanding between the National Bank of Kazakhstan and the Central Bank of Iran.
According to the data of statistics, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Iran in January-July 2015 amounted to $360 million, which is 37% less than in 2014. In 2014, trade turnover between the countries amounted to about $1 billion.
