Almaty. July 4. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan and Tajikistan plan to increase turnover to more than $1 billion, according to the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Friday.
"Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are planning to increase turnover to more than $1 billion. The results of 2013 trade turnover between the two countries has already exceeded $700 million" - said Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Tajikistan Aitzhan Aydashev on Thursday at a business forum "Kazakhstan-Tajikistan» in Dushanbe .
According to him, Kazakhstan is the second major trade partner of Tajikistan after Russia.
Also at the forum, it was noted that trade between the two countries has a positive growth trend. By the end of 2013 this figure increased by 5%.
