Kazakhstan and Turkey can implement 25 joint projects

Astana. April 16. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan and Turkey discussed the feasibility of 25 new joint projects, said President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
"Turkey is able to exit through Kazakhstan to China, South and East Asia, and exit through Turkey to Europe and other countries. We need to strengthen trade and investment links. In this regard, it is offered to consider the possibility of joint implementation of 25 projects with Turkey", - quotes KazTAG Nursultan Nazarbayev after talks in the framework of the state visit of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday.
In his view, these projects should be developed in the industrial areas of Kazakhstan.
N. Nazarbayev noted that Turkey without natural resources and the development of industry ranks 16th in the world in terms of economy. In this regard, he mentioned the possibility of sharing technologies.
As reported earlier, N. Nazarbayev instructed to increase the annual trade turnover to $10 billion.
Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Turkey in the last year amounted to $3.3 billion (exports - $2.3 billion, import - $1 billion).
