Kazakhstan expects the Ukrainian scenario in the case of the prohibition of all languages ​​except Kazakh, said Nazarbayev

Astana. August 25. Silkroadnews - Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said that Kazakhstan expects the Ukrainian scenario in the case of the prohibition of all languages​​, except the state, reports KazTAG.
"If we ban through legislation all languages ​​other than Kazakh, we will become Ukraine. Now, perhaps, all Kazakhs realized it. To beat all the people on the head, leading them to the Kazakh language, shedding blood, losing independence or slowly to solve the problem?"- N. Nazarbayev said in an interview with state-run media on Sunday.
"What  will we choose?" - he asked.
In this regard, the President noted that this issue needs patience.
The President recalled that currently in the regions and districts, where many Kazakhs, all events are held in the Kazakh language.
The President noted that at the time of independence, the share of Kazakhs in Kazakhstan was 40%, and now this figure has risen to 65%.
According to him, at present we have all conditions for the development of the Kazakh language.
Nazarbayev reminded that each year 100 thousand school graduates 80 thousand complete education in the Kazakh language.
The president noted that any  6-7th grade, can now talk in Kazakh, Russian, and English.
