Almaty. July 9. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan holds on its border about 900 cars of Russian petroleum products intended for Kyrgyzstan, reports KyrTAG.
"Since April 2014, there were about 500 cars with fuels and lubricants at the station "Lugovoye" of Zhambyl region (Kazakhstan) and 400 cars at other points of the Russian-Kazakh border. All the cars were sent from Russia to Kyrgyzstan", - reported association of Kyrgyz oil traders on Wednesday.
Kyrgyz oil traders stressed that "the detention by the customs authorities of Kazakhstan wagons of POL has a negative impact on the oil market in Kyrgyzstan".
Experts note that cars with petroleum products with the same shipping documents, through the territory of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Tajikistan and Afghanistan, as well as in the southern regions of the Kyrgyz Republic smoothly passed the customs authorities of the South Kazakhstan region.
At the moment, there is no improvement on the situation at the station "Lugovoye", which can be a precursor to shortages and further price increases for petroleum products in Kyrgyzstan", - confessed oil traders.
