Silkroadnews – Kazakhstan shall share the information on the goods imported into its territory from the third countries with the competent authorities of other member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) once in two days at least, the statement by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) says.

As reported, on April 28-29 in Almaty the officials of the EEC took part in the expert meeting on presentation on accounting system of goods on which, as provided by Kazakhstan’s commitments on accession to WTO membership, the import duties applied are lower compared to the rates of the EEU Common customs tariff (CCT).

He explained that, according to the international legal acts laying the basis of the union, the goods included in the list and importing in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the third countries with payment of customs duties at reduced rates are conditionally released.

It is also reported during the meeting the participants considered a real example of the whole cycle of customs operations, from the clearance to paper copy of the electronic invoice allowing to export the goods from the list outside the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (as the product was released at CCT rate).

In addition, the Kazakhstani-Kyrgyz border area experts got acquainted with operation of the mobile teams established to control the movement of goods included in the list. As noted, the task of mobile teams is to check the availability and authenticity of electronic copies of paper invoices for goods from the list as exported from the territory of Kazakhstan.
