Kazakhstan is three times less popular for French tourists compared to Kyrgyzstan

Almaty. April 1. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan is annually visited by about 5 thousand French tourists compared to 15 thousand French tourists visiting Kyrgyzstan, reports KazTAG citing the French Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan Francis Etienne.
"With regard to tourism, I am personally a little concerned, because the numbers a bit lose in comparison with Kyrgyzstan. For example, the number of tourists in Kazakhstan reaches 5 thousand tourists per year, in Kyrgyzstan - 15 thousand. However, I am confident that with the opening of the new flight will increase the flow of both business travelers and tourists between the two countries", - said F. Etienne at a press conference in Astana on Wednesday.
However, the ambassador said, that the French business much more actively behaves in Kazakhstan.
"At the moment there are already more than 100 companies represented in Kazakhstan, a turnover is 5 billion euros per year. Also in Kazakhstan there are a lot of French people who come to do business, they are interested in it",- concluded F. Etienne.
