Kazakhstan outdated switching to 4-day working week, believes Majilisman

Astana. October 8. Silkroadnews - The transition to a 4-day working week offered by the International Labour Organization (ILO), is not acceptable to Kazakhstan, said the deputy of Majilis of Parliament Victor Kiyanskiy, informs KazTAG.
The MP said that the work schedule, which is seen today in the Russian Federation, in Kazakhstan is unacceptable.
B. Kiyanskiy explained that Kazakhstan's legislation does not limit the graphics of the working week and leaves this at the discretion of the employer and the employee.
According to the newspaper "Kommersant", the Russian deputies discuss the possibility of the transition of the Russian Federation to the 4-day working week. Referring to the chairman of the Duma Committee on Labor Andrei Isayev edition indicated that not the number of days is important but the number of hours worked. In his opinion, it is necessary to discuss the introduction of a 36-hour workweek with the same salary instead applied throughout 40-hour.
Earlier media reported that ILO offered its members to go on a four-day working week. This will increase the number of jobs, and have a positive impact on the health of workers and the environment, according to the organization.
