Kazakhstan population reaches over 17.2 mln

Astana. April 9. Silkroadnews – Kazakhstan population has reached over 17.2 mln people, as of 1st of March, 2014. This signifies a 0.2% increase compared to the beginning of the year, as the National Statistics Agency reports.
Astana population has increased by 7 600 people to reach the total of 821 900 people in the same period. At the same time, Almaty population has increased by 4 200 to reach 1 511 900 people.
