Kazakhstan proposes Arab League to open its office in Almaty

Astana. May 14. Silkroadnews – The first forum on economic cooperation between the Arab League countries, central Asia and Azerbaijan was held in Saudi Arabian City of Ar Riyadh, as Kazakh MFA informs.
“In light of rising mutual interests, having a Central Asian regional office of the Arab League in Almaty could be the next positive step. We would like to then turn it into the regional humanitarian hub of the UN”, Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Erlan Idrisov stated.
The Minister also called for increasing trade volumes between Arab countries, Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
