Kazakhstan "Ancient Taraz" will join the list of UNESCO World Heritage

Taraz. June 16. Silkroadnews – "Ancient Taraz» will join the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site, said the department of internal policy of Zhambyl region.
"During the visit in Taraz, Minister of Culture Arstan Muhamediuly attended a meeting of the region administration, where they signed a memorandum under which during 3 years Taraz should be prepared as a historical and archaeological complex to be shown to foreign visitors on EXPO-2017. A town shall be called" Ancient Taraz "for inclusion in the international list of UNESCO World Heritage" - reported on Monday.
According to the Minister, the ancient Taraz will be the pride of the republic and the most frequently visited city by tourists.
