Kazakhstan’s National debt exceeds KZT 4.6 trn – Ministry of Finance

Astana. May 5. Silkroadnews – Kazakhstan’s national debt reaches KZT 4668.3 bln, as of May 4th, 2014. This signifies KZT 268 bln increase since the 1st of January, 2014, as Kazakh Ministry of Finance reports via its official website.
KZT 4643.9 bln of that is a governmental debt, where KZT 3695.6 bln is an internal debt and KZT 948.3 bln is an external debt. Kazakhstan National Bank’s debt is KZT 8.9 bln. Local governmental bodies are indebted for KZT 15.5 bln.
Kazakhstan’s National debt had been estimated at KZT 4400 bln as of January 1, 2014.
