Kazakhstan started exporting electricity to Kyrgyzstan
Almaty. December 2. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan began exporting electricity to Kyrgyzstan, reports KyrTAG.
"Today, on December 1 started supply of electricity from Kazakhstan. We have already reported that for the normal passage of the winter period there is an agreement with Kazakhstan to import 1 billion kWh of electricity. It will be delivered during this year and next",- said the Minister of Energy Kubanychbek Turdubaev at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs yesterday.
He noted that Kazakhstan intends to enter into a contract on a monthly basis.
