Kazakhstan to cancel the “yellow” level of terrorist threat as of January 16

Almaty. January 13. Silkroadnews – On January 16 Kazakhstan removes “yellow” level of terrorist threat, the anti-terrorist center of the Republic reports.

“The Anti-Terrorist Centre of the Republic of Kazakhstan notifies of cancellation of the moderate (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat in the territory of the country as of January 16, 2017”, the statement on site of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan says.

Such a decision, as noted, has been made by the chairman of the National Security Committee in accordance with the Presidential Decree “On approval of regulations on organization and functioning of the state system on information monitoring and population warning on threat act of terrorism” № 611 dated August 9, 2013.

To remind, after the terrorist attacks in Aktobe on June 5, 2016, “yellow” level of terrorist threat has been introduced throughput the country for 40 days. In August it was extended till January 15, 2017.
