Kazakhstan to raise oil production by 3.8% to 81 million tonnes in 2017
Almaty. January 12. Silkroadnews – In 2017 Kazakhstan plans to increase oil production by 3.8% versus the previous year up to 81 million tonnes, KazTAG reports as referred to the ministry of energy.
“In 2017 oil and gas condensate production in Kazakhstan will amount to 81 million tonnes. In 2016 the country produced 78 million tonnes”, the site of the ministry of energy informs.
With this it is also noted that Kazakhstan has already fulfilled its commitments to reduce production by 20 thousand barrels per day at the expense of Aktobe and Kyzylorda regions old oil fields.
To remind, in December 2016 Kazakhstan, Russia and 9 non-OPEC states have signed an agreement with the cartel to reduce oil production in the total volume of 558 thousand barrels per day. Russia committed to reduce oil production by 300 thousand barrels and Kazakhstan by 20 thousand barrels per day.
