Kazakhstan to sow 15.9 mln ha of crops in 2014

Astana. March 18. Silkroadnews - 15.9 mln ha is to be sowed with crops in Kazakhstan, as the Ministry of Agriculture reports.
“21.8 mln ha is to be occupied with agricultural produce in 2014. This is 1.5% increase compared to 2013. Crops will occupy 15.9 mln ha, oilseeds – 2 mln ha, fodder crops – 3.4 mln ha, melons and gourds – 410 000 ha”, the distributed message states.
