Almaty. October 9. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan will continue to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine. This was stated by President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, KazTAG reports.
"We discussed the possible directions of cooperation and future projects. Of course, we did not miss the crisis in the south-east of Ukraine. We stand for a peaceful resolution of any conflict. And there is no alternative to a peaceful settlement. I think so",- said N. Nazarbayev after talks with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in Astana on Friday.
"Overall we are satisfied with the negotiations, the fulfillment of all orders by Minsk agreements, and especially in such a critical period, we continue to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine. Kazakhstan has sent food to the population in the south-east of Ukraine, and we will continue our work through the International Red Cross and the fund Chernobyl", - he added.
As reported yesterday in Astana on an official visit arrived the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
