Kazakhstan will create the international constructional consortium for oil projects

Almaty. January 13. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan will create constructional international consortium for oil projects. This was reported by the member of the board of the Atyrau Chamber of Entrepreneurs, Serbolat Shorayev, KazTAG informs.
“The international consortium uniting the big foreign and local companies will be called “Asar”. Consultations stage has been completed, and the major companies confirmed their readiness to take part in the project. Within the nearest future the consortium will start its work. Today the law requires a participation by the local companies for many of big projects. But often the turnover of such companies should make around $3 billion. We simply do not have such companies”, Mr. Shorayev said.
He explained the consortium organized shall participate in major projects, e.g. such as the project of the future expansion of “Tengizchevroil” (TCO).
“In addition, we have experts who have experience in such projects and took part in both, first and second stages of TCO project, and also worked on the Kashagan project”, S.Shoraev also added.
