Kazakhstan will provide Tajikistan with equipment for railway engineering

Almaty. January 28. Silkroadnews – On January 27 President of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy”” Askar Mamin carried out negotiations with the head of the State Unitary Enterprise “Rohi OHANI Bank” (Tajik railway) Komil Mirzoali, the press service of the company reported.
“During the meeting the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of railway transport and logistics. The issues of export of Kazakhstan grain and conditions of operation for passenger trains from Tajikistan on the territory of Kazakhstan,” - the company said.
Following the talks, the heads of the railway administrations K.Mirzoali and A. Mamin signed a contract to provide Tajikistan with a wide range of railway engineering products in 2016.  
According to the agreement signed, the parties will continue to cooperate in the supply of locomotives, turnouts and their repair kits and rolled wheels for freight and passenger wagons. One of the points in the document is a provision of rails P-65 produced by the Aktobe Plant for the Tajik railway.
