Kazakhstani businessmen should be allowed to participate in the privatization program regardless of funds available, entrepreneurs say
Almaty. January 15. Silkroadnews – The Kazakhstani entrepreneurs should be allowed to participate in the second wave of privatization, regardless of funds available for purchase of objects of their interest, the chairman of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” (NCC), Timur Kulibayev says.
“Under such circumstances, when businesses’ key problem is the availability of financial resources, privatization becomes extremely difficult. If there is a company with a positive experience, strong team, financially disciplined, despite at the moment it experiences a shortage of finance, why not to allow it to privatize the property? Let her pay, let’s say, 25% of the shares”, quote by T. Kulibayev provided within NCC press service report on the results of the working meeting with the management and members of the regional council of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs held in Almaty on Thursday.
“While the Chamber shall support and accompany the project till its full implementation. “Atameken” has already announced this idea to the head of the state and government. The Chamber shall elaborate this project in more details through interaction with structural divisions of akimat”, he added.
