Kuwait Fund to allocate $1 million to build Kyrgyz transmission line
Almaty. March 28. Silkroadnews – The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) is ready to provide Kyrgyzstan with $1 million to build Tamga-Karakol 220 kW power line, KyrTAG writes.
“The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development is ready to allocate $1 million for the construction of the Tamga-Karakol power transmission line”, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Industry, Energy and Mineral Resources of the Kyrgyz Republic, Azamat Omorov said at the committee’s meeting on the fuel and energy complex on Tuesday.
He added, the citizens of Kyrgyzstan will work at the site, “yet the experts from other countries will also arrive”.
As a result of the discussions, the deputies approved the draft decree of the government of the Kyrgyz Republic on the project “Construction of Tamga-Karakol 220 kW high-voltage line” and submitted to chamber for consideration.
