Kyrgyz border guards will carry out radiation monitoring on the border with Kazakhstan

Almaty. June 10. Silkroadnews - To the State Border Service (SBS) will be transferred two new features - the radiation monitoring and informing the tax authorities of the transported goods. This was announced by the head of the border control of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Zhyltyrov, transmits KyrTAG.
"Previously, radiation monitoring was carried out by the Customs control service. With the entry into EAEC this function will be transferred to Border Service. To do this, we have all the necessary equipment - radiation portal monitors for checking vehicles and special pagers to determine the level of radiation in humans", - he said during a press tour on Wednesday.
For information about the volume of goods transported on the border with Kazakhstan, frontier guards will gather information during the check of vehicles with a load.
"Drivers will be expected to fill the card, which will indicate the nature of the goods, place of residence and passport data. After checking by frontier, the card will be stamped", - said B. Zhyltyrov.
According to him, the process of filling the card and check of the vehicle will take up to 15 minutes, the cluster of cars is not expected.
