Almaty. August 13. SIlkroadnews - Kyrgyz businessmen even after the removal of customs control at the state border can not take the goods in bulk to Kazakhstan, reports KyrTAG with reference to the chairman of the trade union "Dordoi" Damira Dolotalieva at a press conference on Thursday.
As reported at the checkpoint "Turagart", on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan has accumulated more than 2 thousand vehicles and warehouses near the market "Dordoi" concentrated about 50 thousand tonnes of Chinese goods.
According to the director of the Department of Customs Administration of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan Alikhan Mambetalin, Kyrgyzstan's entry into the single economic space of the Customs Union and the EAEC is a "positive step", but is fraught with a number of negative points for Kazakhstan.
"Customs clearance in Kyrgyzstan is much easier, and the import duty is only 0.35 euros per kilo. Thus, because of the accession of Kyrgyzstan to the EAEC budget of our country loses billions of dollars! An indirect confirmation of our fears can serve the fact that in the first half of 2015 compared with the previous year the budget has received 240 billion less in the form of customs duties and taxes. With this money we could build 300 new schools. How many losses suffered our entrepreneurs, many of them stop their activities, cut jobs or move into the market "Dordoi", unfortunately, it is impossible to count", - explained the expert.
