Almaty. November. 1. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyz deputies demand prime minister to report on situation on the border with Kazakhstan in parliament, the Kyrgyz Telegraph Agency (KyrTAG) reports.
“The prime minister and members of the Cabinet of Ministers are to come the parliament and report the situation (around the Kyrgyz-Kazakhstani border, KyrTAG) behind the closed doors. We will also discuss the situation on the Kyrgyz-Chinese border, where we get a lot of complaints by trucks drivers,” Ulan Primov, MP from fraction Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan said at the parliamentary session on Wednesday.
Speaker Dastan Dzhumabekov proposed to postpone this issue for tomorrow, however, the deputies proposed putting the issue to the vote. Following the results of the voting, the deputies approved the proposal by their colleague and decided to invite the government to the parliament with a report on the situation on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border today afternoon.
