Almaty. February 24. Silkroadnews – The Chinese market requirements for the Kyrgyz exporters are quite tough, such an opinion was expressed by Deputy Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Eldar Abakirov, KyrTAG writes.

“It is very hard for our exporters to enter the world, and in particular, the Chinese market, as they run into quite tough requirements for them”, E. Abakirov said at the cabinet meeting on Friday.

He also touched on problems with the export of goods into the EEU states.

“Entering the EEU markets requires a lot of documentation on the quality of products”, he explained.

According to E. Abakirov, last year Kyrgyzstan and China signed protocols on the requirements for the quality of goods, in particular, meat products. The same documents are planned for signing on fruit and vegetable and flour products.

“We are also required to develop the logistics centers”, he added, noting there is a new action plan designed to develop the state’s export potential.

In the meantime, the Kyrgyz Prime Minister Sooronbai Jeenbekov said, a special website is to be developed for the exporters.

“We need to develop a site for exporters (...) We need a site to allocate our catalogue of the export-oriented products, as not every exporter can come to our place to ask his/her questions”, prime minister said addressing E. Abakirova.

According to him, representatives of the business environment have already succeeded in such sites creations, thus, the government need to work in this direction as well.
