Kyrgyz MP proposes law against homosexuality propaganda

Bishkek. June 6. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyz MP Ulugbek Kochkorov proposes to make propaganda of homosexual relations an administrative offence.
A subsequent draft law "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Republic of Kyrgyzstan" has been published on the official we page of parliament for the purposes of public debate.
The draft law predisposes fining individuals found to be involved in propaganda of homosexuality. The size of fines is dependent on the subject and nature of propaganda activities. This draft law is aimed at depriving an individual fr om using his or hers social or other position for the purposes of further homosexuality propaganda.
Moreover, the draft law predisposes that foreign nationals or individuals without citizenship engaging in activities related to homosexuality propaganda are subject to both admits dative fines and subsequent extradition from the country. Alternatively, they might be subject to 3-nights incarceration with subsequent extradition from the country.
"In cases wh ere a foreign national or an individual without citizenship was using mass media or internet for the purposes of homosexuality propaganda, he or she is the subject to 5-nights incarceration with subsequent extradition from the territory of the country", the message states.
