Almaty. August 14. Silkroadnews - Oil Traders Association of Kyrgyzstan sent a letter to the chairman of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Andrei Belyaninov to help to solve the problem of the delay on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border of 500 cars with fuel, reported KyrTAG.
As reported, in April and May at the customs post "Kulan" (station "Lugovoye" RK) during customs control were detained 427 tanks with diesel fuel and gasoline, heading from Russia to Kyrgyzstan via Kazakhstan.
The Kazakh side considers the detained cars with fuels and lubricants smuggling of petroleum products.
This situation has led to a decrease in the supply of oil products to Kyrgyzstan and increase in fuel prices. It should noted that rail transportation through Kazakhstan are the only channel of supply of petroleum products to Kyrgyzstan.
