Kyrgyz parliament’s majority coalition has broken up

Almaty. October 24. Silkroadnews –  The Social Democratic Party faction resigns from the parliamentary majority coalition, KyrTAG informs.

It is reported that the Social Democratic Party faction held an extraordinary meeting where it was decided to resign from the majority coalition.

“Today we have gathered together and decided to resign from the majority coalition. However, the government resignation issue due to the break-up of the coalition is to be considered only after the formal announcement of the break-up by the head of the coalition”, the faction deputy of zhogokru kenesh Torobay Zulpukarov said during extended meeting of the Budget and Finance Committee on Monday.

The majority coalition consists of four factions: Social Democrats, “Ata Meken”, Onuguu-Progress”, “Kyrgyzstan”.
