Almaty. August 22. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyz people will go for Hajj-2014 by transit through Dubai, KyrTAG reported with reference to the Supreme Mufti of KR Maksat aji Toktomushev.
"We have passed the tender, which was won by Fly Dubai, they offered a price of $1300. Then we received a letter from the Department of Civil Aviation, with offer that the flight can be made a Saudi airline, or ours. Saudi companies offer price - $1450, but it is not profitable, as due to the difference, pilgrims will be able to visit Mecca 3 days, in stead of 8", - said the mufti on Friday.
Thus, the first plane takes off from Bishkek on September 8th and 9th from Osh to Dubai and then to Medina and Jeddah, flights will be performed until September 28. The full cost of trip is $ 1,300.
As explained by the head of the department of examination and registration Bakytbek Osmonov, the KR could not unilaterally break the contract with Dubai company, as they won the tender, according to domestic law.
According to the deputy mufti Zamira Rakieva, last year there was no such restrictions and Kyrgyz flew directly to Saudi Arabia. Total was issued 3685 hajj visas. Pilgrims will return until October 24.
