Kyrgyz President Atambayev to meet Nazarbayev in Almaty

Bishkek. March 26. Silkroadnews – Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev is to arrive to Almaty on Wednesday evening, where he plans to meet Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
As a well-informed source in Bishkek’s government administration informs, this is not an official visit. This is likely to be a 1 on 1 meeting behind the closed doors.
The leaders of two countries are likely to discuss recent international events, economic issues and bilateral cooperation. They are also likely to touch upon the stance on the issue of Kyrgyzstan joining the Customs Union.
