Kyrgyz President discussed with the Prime Minister of Tajikistan border security issues and the delimitation of the state border

Almaty. November 14. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda, who arrived in the country on an official visit, reports KyrTAG.
According to the press service of the head of state, during the meeting they discussed issues of Kyrgyz-Tajik cooperation in various sectors, as well as prospects of further cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The President stressed the need to ensure a joint border security and speedy completion of the delimitation and demarcation of the state border.
The sides noted the importance of developing and deepening bilateral relations, as well as increasing economic ties between the two countries, including in the energy and transport sectors.
