Kyrgyzstan abolished the licensing of tobacco imports
Almaty. March 13. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyz Government reduced the number of licenses for the import and export of goods, reported KyrTAG with reference to the press service of the government.
The relevant decree was signed by Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Djoomart Otorbaev.
According to the document, in order to remove administrative barriers to the free business environment the number of licensed product groups for export was reduced from 18 to 6, on imports from 17 to 6. In particular reduced the licensing for importing tobacco and tobacco products.
In order to streamline inter-agency cooperation and eliminate corruption mechanisms, all licenses for the export and import of goods will be issued by the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic with the exception of import licenses for ethyl alcohol and alcoholic beverages, which will be issued by the State Tax Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
It is noted that this action was taken in order to implement the "Licensing system in the Kyrgyz Republic".
