Kyrgyzstan adopted a new concept of public policy in the religious sphere for 2014-2020.

Almaty.November 3. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan has adopted the concept of public policy in the religious sphere for 2014-2020. The decision was taken at the next meeting of the Defense Council on Monday, reports KyrTAG.
During the discussion the "Concept of the state policy in the sphere of religion for 2014-2020", the document submitted a number of additions.
"Protection of national interests and national identity of the people of Kyrgyzstan are paramount. In this regard, the concept must be further developed",- said the president Atambayev.
As previously reported, the main principle of the new concept is non-interference of the religion in government. The document also defines the first secular state policies that adhere to the Kyrgyz Republic.
