Kyrgyzstan and China agreed on the reconstruction of roads in Bishkek

Bishkek. September 30. Silkroadnews - «On September 29, 2014 the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic signed the Protocol between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the People's Republic of China on the implementation of the project of rehabilitation and reconstruction of roads in Bishkek. The main content of the project is the rehabilitation and reconstruction of road sections of the city Bishkek streets Zh.Pudovkina, Indira Gandhi, M.Auezov, about 7.44 km (including subgrade, pavement, waterproofing construction, road markings, devices that provide road safety).
The Chinese side undertakes to allocate funds for the construction work for the implementation of the above project and the administration of the Chinese company for project management for the purpose of external oversight and management of funds. Submitted by China funds for the construction works of the project will amount to no more than 52.5 million yuan ($ 8.5 million).
Kyrgyz party assumes the obligation of drawing up feasibility studies, project documentation, the definition of the company to implement the project of the number of Chinese enterprises recommended by the Chinese side through a tender process, the direction of self-organization to oversee the implementation of the project and the organization of the project.
