Kyrgyzstan and India discuss military-technical cooperation

Almaty. February 27. Silkroadnews - Defense Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Abibilla Kudaiberdiev received Plenipotentiary of India in the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Jayant N.Khobragade and military attaché of India Colonel Ranzhan Malik, informs KyrTAG with reference to the Department of Information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the meeting, sides discussed the prospects of military and military-technical cooperation. In particular, the issues of training of Kyrgyz military personnel in military schools of India as well as the continuation of language courses and mountain training.
It is noted that the Indian side is ready to assist in the creation of an information center on the basis of the Military Institute of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, finalize the medical equipment for military field hospital of KR Armed Forces, which is designed to follow directions in the UN peacekeeping mission, as well as in the reconstruction of the mountain training center in Balykchy for further conduction of anti-terrorism exercises.
