Kyrgyzstan and India every year will hold joint military exercises

Almaty. July 13. Silkroadnews - Bishek signed an agreement to strengthen the Kyrgyz-Indian military cooperation, which provides annual joint military exercises, reported KyrTAG.
Indian minister Narendra Modi visited Bishkek on an official visit on July 12. He met with the President and Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh.
During the visit, sides signed four agreements - on cooperation in the field of culture, Memorandum of Understanding between the Central Election Commission of the two countries, an agreement between the Ministry of Economy and the Bureau of Indian Standards, an agreement on military cooperation.
The document envisages military cooperation in the spheres of defense, security, military education and training, exchange of information, observers and military instructors.
In addition, the agreement provides the annual joint military exercises. The first joint exercise "Kanzhar" already took place in March 2015 in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan with the participation of units of special forces of the two countries.
