Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait agreed to cooperate in cultural relations

Almaty. February 17. Silkroadnews - Within the framework of the Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan in Kuwait, the Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism Altynbek Maksutov and members of the official Kyrgyz delegation met with the Minister of Information, Culture, Tourism and Youth Affairs of Kuwait Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Homoud Al-Sabah, KyrTAG report.

Maksutov expressed a gratitude to the Kuwaiti side for the warm hospitality showed to the Kyrgyz delegation, as well as cooperation and assistance in carrying out the Kyrgyz cultural days in Kuwait, saying that the Kyrgyz people are looking forward to hold Kuwaiti cultural activities in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. He noted that the visit of President Almazbek Atambayev in Kuwait in December 2015 gave a good impetus to the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, and Kyrgyzstan is ready to strengthen and expand the mutual cooperation.
After the official negotiations the sides inked an agreement between two governments on cooperation in the cultural relations.
