Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan agreed not to use weapons during cross-border incidents

Almaty. July 9. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan agreed not to use weapons during cross-border incidents, reports KyrTAG.
"On July 8, 2015 in the city of Isfara, Tajikistan was held a working meeting of the chairman of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic Rayimberdi Duyshenbiev with First Deputy Chairman - Commander of Border Troops of Tajikistan Lieutenant General Rajabali Rahmonali", - stated in the department of public relations and Media Service of the Kyrgyz Republic on Thursday.
During the meeting the heads of border agencies of the two republics have considered the circumstances of the last border incident and discussed the need to develop specific measures not to use weapons against civilian and military sides. The heads of border departments of the two countries also went to the scene of the incident and got acquainted with the situation at the state border.
Following the meeting, the sides took a decision on the implementation of strict control over the organization of border service orders and the exclusion of the use of weapons against civilian and military sides.
Recall, on July 6, on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border happened an incident involving weapons.
