Kyrgyzstan and Turkey have identified priority areas of cooperation in health care

Almaty. December 5. Silkroadnews - Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey have identified priority areas of cooperation, reports KyrTAG with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to authorities, the expansion of cooperation were discussed at a meeting of health ministers Talantbek Batyraliev and Mehmet Muezzinoglu on December 4 in the 2nd international kurultai graduates of medical institutions in the Turkish city of Istanbul (Turkey).
The parties have identified priority areas of cooperation: strengthening health systems; development of systems for hospital management and health information systems; Health statistics; development of projects for the protection of maternal and child health, reduce maternal and child mortality; capacity building of human resources in health care; medicine; Pharmacy and Medical Equipment; exchange of information and experience in the field of medicine, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment; organization of emergency medical services and cooperation in the field of health care in the event of natural disasters; health tourism.
At the suggestion of the Turkish side in the first half of 2015 will be implemented the project "Health Week in Kyrgyzstan." The project involves the arrival of the Turkish team of highly qualified medical specialists in the Kyrgyz Republic to provide medical care to those patients whose treatment due to technical and other reasons was not possible in Kyrgyzstan. Provision of medical care will be provided free of charge, all the necessary equipment, tools and medicines will be provided by the Turkish side.
