Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan will prosecute citizens for the threat to border guards of neighboring states
Almaty. October 1. Silkroadnews - Border guards of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in Osh discussed the areas of cooperation, reported KyrTAG with reference to the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the State Border Service (SBS) of Kyrgyzstan.
"During the meeting the border representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic and the border representatives of the Republic of Uzbekistan exchanged operational information on the situation on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border, as well as coordination of issues of cooperation in the protection of the common border", - said in a statement.
The parties have agreed to take the necessary coordinated measures to prevent provocative actions against members of the two states, especially in the uncoordinated sections of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border.
Following the meeting, the sides decided to hold until October 30, practical training and tests for the border guards on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border.
In addition, the border representatives of the two countries have agreed that in the event of threats from the citizens in relation to the border guards of neighboring states, the guards will take measures to attract citizens to justice.
