Bishkek. September 25. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan has banned the use of right-hand drive cars as taxis, transmits KyrTAG with reference to the Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Temir Sariev.
Sariev said that the government can not impose a ban or restriction on the importation of right-hand drive cars.
"Kyrgyzstan is a member of the WTO, we have a commitment from the countries belonging to the Organization, so we can not limit the importation of right-hand drive cars. But limit their use in the territory of the country for security reasons is in our power",- said Sariev.
